Update! The Chicago Police reported that they arrested a person on 9/17/2014 and charge him in connection with these armed robberies.  They believed that the offender was part of a three man crew that was working together.  After this arrest, the police reported that there has not been additional robberies with the same pattern and description of offenders.

The Chicago Police issued the following crime alert.  Please note that there has been another armed robbery in the vicinity of Skinner Park recently that is not listed in the crime alert.

• Armed Robbery – 9/16/2014 – approximately 9:45PM
Approximate Address : Monroe and Throop
Location : Sideway / Street

This incident occurred on the large sidewalk in front of Skinner School and the offenders are described as black teens with dreadlocks.
